Decision Support System is a system to help a person/company to make an accurate
and definite decision. Considerable amount of problems could be solved using
Decision Support System, one of it is Decision Support System of Fieldcommander
Election at Marching Band Gita Persada Mulawarman using Naive Bayes method.
The purpose of this research is to generate Decision Support System of
Fieldcommander Election at Marching Band Gita Persada Mulawarman using Naive
Bayes method and hoping that the selection of Fieldcommander could be done as
objective as possible. Using Visual Basic 6.0 as the main program and Microsoft
Access as the main database. The technique for collecting data that used in this
research are literature review, observation, and interview.
The result of this research is to be able to make a Decision Support System that
decide which is the more acceptable fieldcommander and the non-acceptable
fieldcommander. User may input the fieldcommander candidate data, main criteria
data, and sub-criteria data. And then the system will calculate and make a solution
using Naive Bayes Method. After the system decide and calculate, the system will
show the decision in a form of a report.
