The issue of poverty is a major concern in many countries because there are
many negative effects. Notwithstanding the continued growth in the worlds
population, the absolute number of people living in extreme poverty has fallen,
regardless of whether the poverty-line income threshold is set at $1.25 or raised to $2
or $2.50 per day (World population and number of people living in poverty, 19812005, n.d.). Poverty can lead to many problems and it is an unsolvable issue in
countries try to get rid of. Moreover, poverty is not focused; the welfare and living
standard of poor people are worsened which means those people will be in unstable
condition. This issue is very important because if it is not solved, many problems will
occur. There are some causes of the poverty. Currently, the number of population has
been gradually increasing. As a result, the lack of equality is happening. In addition,
the unemployment can lead to poverty because some people who do not have enough
money to spend in daily life. One of the causes is the lack of education. When people
are uneducated, they do not have some abilities and knowledge to work in the future.
From these causes, the social gap is created, and the poverty will occur at sometimes.
Conflict-related food shortages are also entitlement failures: people lose access to
land, water, and other resources necessary for them to access food that they may or
not grow themselves, and these deficits usually far outweigh losses in subsistence

food production. To identify conflict-related food poverty, a straightforward approach

is to locate zones of active and recent conflict, to chart gaps in productive and market
capacities and in income, and to trace the relationships to recent conflicts (Food
poverty related to conflict, n.d.). There are many problems that can be caused by
poverty. First, the crime rate can increase as people do not have enough money, they
will find a way to gain money even though, action is illegal. Moreover, people might
commit a crime to get huge amount of money. For example, some people might steal
or trade illegal drugs to get money. Another problem under the poverty is about
health. People who are poor will suffer with some health conditions because they are
not able to cure themselves by paying for expensive treatment. In my opinion, to
solve this problem, the government should take some action. The government should
reduce the unemployment rate by providing more jobs for people. Furthermore, public
service such as healthcare should be available for free for people who are under the
poverty. Additionally, the government should support education so that people will be
encouraged to study. If the government treats people equally regardless their social
status, the social gap between rich people and poor people will be harrowed down.
Also, those poor people can receive the same services and facilities as rich people, so
their lives will be better, and the poverty can be slowly disappeared.
Nowadays, Afghan people are guaranteeing a large number of individuals
living in poverty have permission to enough nourishment to keep up a sound life.
Neediness and nourishment instability are multi-faceted event; including low,
physical, money related resources and untalented human capital in Afghanistan. As of
now, more than 80% of the nation's populace live in provincial territories where
agribusiness is the essential movement and the part contributes around 40-50%
Although in recent years (after 2001) there has been some growth in agricultural

production, the present agricultural situation in Afghanistan is marred by massive

poverty among the rural population (Ahmadzai, 2014). This is basically because of
higher reliance on non-ranch salary, regular work relocation, low level of asset
ownership and geological detriments that higher access to essential social
administrations like transportation, communication, instruction, and wellbeing. The
result of the study also shows that, education can play an important role in
overcoming the symptoms of poverty through expanded opportunities of non-farm
employment, improving food security and reducing child labor in the region. Another
important implication is that improving the local credit system will cope with income
risk management (Ahmadzai, 2014).
For the resolution, education and social are important. If population in
Afghanistan has educational foundation, they will have more chance to find the work.
To solve the conflict by education Afghanistan can start by giving away fund for the
children and scholarship. For the social, if rich people support poor people buy give
them a job or stop separate the class. This will be helping the economy going into the
good way. After that, people who have knowledge can use their knowledge to develop
country. For example, they can work and use money in the country, so money will be
a cycle in the country. The country will have money to circulate.
