BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE

HISTORY
Web development platform is a very popular business. The demand of it is
very indispensable in an increasingly interconnected world of ours, iTemplate
is the name of a business plan; iTemplate derived from the function website
template and added with the word I since we the proponents would template
the website of the customer as well as offer pre-built template designs for the
customer. The proposed location of the business will be at STI Bldg. N.Guevarra
St. Brgy. Zone 1 Dasmarinas, Cavite. The entrepreneurs Noel Ian Simborios,
Laziel ann Labayna, Benjamin Castillo, Joselito Morada BSIT Students and
having the knowledge to technology and web development is the main reason of
choosing this kind of business. iTemplate will have a Lead Designer, a business
manager, a programmer, and a technician that will be in charge of the overall
operations of the business. The business office has a 5 set of computers for the
development and product showcase purposes. The main purpose of the business

is to cater the demands of the developing their own websites for various
purposes as well as giving the client the convenience of having their websites at
a competitive price.

CURRENT CONDITIONS

develop their own websites, release their websites to the general public. The
proponents target customers are the people that wants to outsource their web
development needs.

THE CONCEPT
Web development platforms are a huge help for individuals who doesnt
have the knowledge of developing their own websites or simply wanting an easy
way to develop them without coding it by themselves the services that the
proponents offer are not just the development but by also catering the
customization and building an entire site for the client.

OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The proponents objective is to acquire prospect customers, promote our
services and products, achieve the desired profit and return of investment within
a specific period of time.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

II.

To build a good customer relationship and establish trust.

To help individuals in developing their websites for personal use or

professional use.
To establish our presence in the market.
To earn profits.
To attract customers within a year of operation.
Financial controls to avoid losing money.

MARKET ANALYSIS/MARKET RESEARCH

The proponents decided to hire an accountant, marketing expert and a
copy writer for they will be the one in charge of doing the finances and
promotion as well as the content of the products of the business.
OVERALL MARKET
The web development industry is not that of a crowded market yet
here in the Philippines especially in Dasmarinas. There are a few major
competitors but it is still challenging for the proponents since the business
should be able to show a good portfolio of products and services, a few
competitors can be advantageous but since the business is a startup we the
proponents can offer a more competitive price to compete with the market.
COMPETITVE FACTORS
Competitive factors include product and service pricing, the
quality of the design or product, as well as its features like being mobile
viewable sites, ease of use and integration to their needs. We the
proponents believe firmly that competing in the market is achievable with
services and product pricing being offered.
OTHER MARKET INFLUENCES

The market influences that the proponents may encounter are first,
The Government of the Philippines, Seasonal fluctuations, economic and
technological factors like recession, the uptime of the hosting servers of
the business, data loss, and lastly acts of God. These factors would affect
the costs and price of the business in providing the products. The rapid
development of the Information Technology industry requires a quick
adoption of the proponents on what is latest, the demands and other needs
by the clients to survive in the market.
MARKETING ORIENTATION
A customer-centered approach to product design, performance and
satisfaction developing a good strategy to meet the needs of our customers
and advertising the services the business have that the customers already
demands, rather than offering services and convincing them that the
product should be wants.
