Aim
To prepare aromatic water

Formula
Rx
Peppermint oil . 0.02ml
Purified water q.s to 100ml

1 drop of peppermint oil is added into a volumetric flask using a dropper.


About 25 ml of purified water is added into the volumetric flask.
The solution is then shake vigorously until the solution is clear.
The remaining of purified water is added into the volumetric flask until it reached
100ml and the solution is again shake vigorously until the oil is well dispersed

throughout the purified water.


5. Dispensing agent (talc) is added if the peppermint oil is still undispersed.

Uses
1. Peppermint water can be used as flavouring agent as it has a good smell and
freshness scent.
2. It can also act as antispasmodic which suppresses muscle spasm and cramps.
3. It can also be used as carminative which increase flatulence by releasing gas
formation from stomach.

Conclusion
100ml of peppermint water is prepared and submitted.
