Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the lung airways that causes coughing, wheezing, chest
tightness or shortness of breath, according to Tonya Winders, president of the Allergy & Asthma
Network. These signs and symptoms may be worse when a person is exposed to their triggers, which
can include air pollution, tobacco smoke, factory fumes, cleaning solvents, infections, pollens, foods,
cold air, exercise, chemicals and medications.
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM DISEASE
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common disorder in Americans. According to the National Institute
of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, one in every five men and women has IBS (which is
not the same as inflammatory bowel disease). Women are twice as likely as men to have the
disorder. Half of all cases are diagnosed before age thirty-five.
REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM DISEASE
Erectile dysfunction is a common condition that affects about one in 10 males on a long-term basis,
the Cleveland Clinic noted. It can be linked to vascular disease, neurological disorders such as
Multiple Sclerosis, trauma and psychological episodes.

according to Wei.
MUSCULAR SYSTEM DISEASE
The most serious skin cancer is melanoma, which looks like a dark, changing, bleeding skin spot,
Crutchfield said. Melanoma is fatal in as many as 35 percent of patients diagnosed with this form of
skin cancer.
LYMPHATIC SYSTEM DISEASE
Lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes. It occurs when lymphocytes grow and multiply
uncontrollably. There are a number of different types of lymphoma, according to Dr. Jeffrey P.
Sharman, director of research at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and medical director of
hematology research for the U.S. Oncology Network.
ENDOCRINE SYSTEM DISEASE
Thyroid cancer is a cancer originating from follicular or parafollicular thyroid cells. These cells give
rise to both well-differentiated cancers (i.e., papillary and follicular) and anaplastic thyroid cancer. The
second cell type, the C or parafollicular cell, produces the hormone calcitonin and is the cell of origin
for medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC).
