RESPON SUPEROVULATION TO ADMINISTRATION OF VARIOUS LEVELS OF
FOLLICLE STIMULATING HORMONE (FSH) IN PESISIRS CATTLE

ABSTRACT
The research was conducted with an experimental method to find out response superovulation in
many levels dosage FSH on Pesisirs cattle. The research used 9 donor Pesisirs cattle and 3 bull Pesisirs
cattle. This materials were sinkronized their estrous with CIDR (Control Internal Drug Release) on vagina
for 12 days and days 10 all donor were injected by FSH. Pesisirs cattle were injected by 3 level dosage
FSH is 12 ml, 14 ml and 16 ml, and 3 repeated. Administration of FSH is done by decreasing the dosage
for 3 days. The last day injected FSH, donors received PGF 2, estrous detection was done on morning and
afternoon. Artificial fertilisasion was done after estrous shown. Flushing embryo did on days 6 to days 8
after artificial fertilisasion. The variables from this research are Respons Superovulation, Corpus Luteum
and Embryo and Quality Embryo. Results of this research are pesisirs cattle had same response
superovulation 77,79%. Avarage of Corpus Luteum and Embryo on Pesisir cattle are 6,114,68 and
3,222,17. Conclusion of this research was injected FSH 14 ml on Pesisirs cattle already shown respon
superovulation but injected FSH 16 ml shown the best respon superovulation and the best quality embryo
on Pesisirs cattle.
