To raise awareness about the diverse gender-related research undertaken/done within the UNU
and to make it available to a wider audience;
To encourage collaboration and networking among researchers from different UNU institutes on
gender-related research questions.
This series aims to showcase research that has incorporated gender and to view it as an allencompassing dimension, while highlighting the different roles that men and women can play in gender
research. The wide variety of research within UNU will provide a compelling and policy-relevant mix of
articles.
To ensure the quality of the posts and to encourage networking and getting to know each others work,
this series will include a peer review process. This means that each blog post will be reviewed by two
UNU contributors and each contributor will in addition be asked to review another post.
Requirements for blogs
Ideal length: 800-900 words (no less than 700, no more than 1000)
British English
Posts may not contain footnotes or endnotes, but should include wherever
possible, URLS for cited data, quotes, speeches, reports, or academic research.
