ABSTRACT

The objective of this research is to enhance the students of Year (6)


Melatis mastery of skills, domain and psychomotor in the volleyball
game using Muska Mosston 'command' A style. The students are from
Sekolah Kebangsaan Lenga, Pagoh, Muar, Johor. This study has
involved 22 respondents of 14 male students and 8 female
students. All of the respondents are Malays. The initial survey has
revealed that majority of the students of Year (6) Melati do not
master the correct skills of digging in the volleyball game. The
researcher is using the Command A Muska Mosston approach as a
new alternative to the traditional teaching technique in the Physical
Exercise subject. This is to enable students to acquire the skills,
experience, knowledge and understanding in a game Hence, this
study is researching on the effectiveness of the Command
technique in enhancing the students skills in a game. The
Command A technique has been used to evaluate the
respondents level of the digging skills in a volleyball game before
and after treatment is done. The researcher is using observation instrument,
check list, Pre Test and Post Test. Data collected, recorded and translated in the form
f table, graft and percentage. The findings show that the Command A
approach has produced a positive change leading to the mastery of
the digging skills in the volleyball game. The percentage increased from
18.48% to 23.03%. Therefore the researcher hope that the Command
A approach can help in enhancing the quality of the teachers
teaching technique especially the Physical Exercise teacher and at
the same time tremendously enhances the students level in the
digging skills in a volleyball game.
