Every country has its great men and women who are remembered for what
they have done of their country one of indonsias great men is DR.Muhamad
Hatta . he was a man witch a dee love for his country and people .
Dr Muhamasd Hatta was born in Bukittinggi on August 12,1902.while still
in junior high school in bukittingi. He became interesested in politices and joned
the league of young Sumatrans.
He left bukittingi to study in Batavia. Then, he went to the Netherlands he
studied economics . and gained a dectorate degree there the nasionalise
movement.because of his activities , he was arrested .
In 1932 Hatta returned to Indonesia . he joined a political organization
calldpendidikan nasional Indonesia one of its goals was to develop political
awarens among the Indonesian people , his activities again led to his arrest the
colinal government exiled him to boren digol, and later to bandara neira . shortly
before the sapaness inovasion he was brought back to java .
When the jadaness surrendered in August 1945 , soekarno and hatta
prodamed Indonesians independence . hatta became the first vic president of the
republif of Indonesians
In 19956hatta resigned as vce president and devoted himself to writing . on
match14,1981 Dr . muhamad hatta passed away in Jakarta .
Now days he is no longer living among us , how ever , spirit of loving the
country and nation is one of he seasons why he is well remembered.
