According to bulk separator vendor, based on an Inlet Liquid Load of 0.1 USG/ MMSCF (per Process Note 21) during normal operation they feel bulk separation stage
is not required. Even during the upset conditions of 36.78 kg/h, the liquid loading to the vessel is still very low at 0.08% Liquid Volume Fraction (LVF).
At this LVF and the small vessel ID, they still do not believe that a bulk separation stage would add any benefit to the application.
