 ISM is designed for students wishing to mentor an adult professional in a

chosen career. With the mentor and the teacher-facilitator, each student will
create a unique plan of study and receive individual instruction. Students
leave the high school campus and go to the mentors place of business to
study with professionals.

This course requires a document a minimum of 3 hours of mentorship activities each

week, complete a Journal Entry each week documenting your mentorship
experiences, complete an ISM Professional Portfolio showcasing assignments
completed during the course and the final project, complete all of the required
assignments , complete a Mid-Term Presentation, develop a final product and
presentation at the collegiate/professional level that is presented to a panel of
graders at the conclusion of the semester.

treatment and rehabilitation of sprained ankles, concussions, and injured ACLs. I
chose this topic because whenever around sports, you will always see injuries.
These 3 injuries are very common, so I think it will be interesting to see what causes
them to be so common.

-the stretching or tearing of the anterior cruciate ligament

-Occurs when your knee is hit hard, over extending of the knee, or quickly stopping
and changing directions
