    THE STORY
    Dr. David Easton is a scientist for Smithston-Wessex. When a routine scientific
    study develops into a study of an alien lifeform. As it grows, he comes to accept
    it as a child. This brings him into conflict with peers and supervisors as he tries to
    protect it from losing it in the process that he signed on for.
