Improving the quality of national education is the need to align Indonesia with
other countries. This requirement will be met if the educational process is able to
produce qualified human resources ,. The phenomenon is certainly a
responsibility of many parties, especially the world of education where unjung
spear is a teacher. Guru is an intellectual profession that demands the skills,
competence and comprehensive ability. Current condition has not shown that the
maximum expectation that still needed various efforts and strategies to improve
teacher performance expectations will impact on improving learning in the
classroom. Behavior of school leadership, motivation, and discipline are
important factors that affect the performance of teachers.
This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the phenomenon and
the context in Leadership Influence Principal, Work Motivation and Work
Discipline Against teacher performance. The approach used is a case study. This
research is a case study because the focus of this study answers the question of
"how" Principal Leadership, Motivation and Discipline Work Work on Performance
and wish to cover the contextual conditions that are relevant to the
phenomenon.
This research was conducted in MTs Darussalam Legokulon, Jl. Pondok Bali KM 6,
Village Legonkulon district. Legokulon Subang Regency, West Java, (0260) 551
954. The results of this study indicate that MTs Darussalam Legonkulon is
madrassa effectively managed. According to the research that has been done
and the discussion about the influence of school leadership, motivation and
discipline of work on teacher performance MTs Darussalam Legokulon Subang
district, the authors obtained the following conclusions: 1. Leadership principals
that include principal as educators, managers, administrators, supervisor, leader,
innovator and motivator in accordance with the data processing included in
either category, 2. Motivation of work which includes intrinsic and extrinsic
motivation in accordance with the data processing categorized good enough, 3.
Discipline of work which includes timeliness, awareness of the work and
regulatory compliance in accordance with the data processing categorized good
enough, 3. MTs teacher performance Darussalam Legokulon Subang district that
includes educating, teaching, guiding, directing, train, assess, and evaluate
according to data processing that are in good enough category, 3. the influence
of school leadership on teacher performance, directly or indirectly, including
large, 4.Pengaruh motivation to work on teacher performance, directly or
indirectly, is quite large, 5. Effect of labor discipline on teacher performance
directly or indirectly large enough, 6. Effect principal leadership, motivation and
discipline of work on teacher performance is huge.
