FINAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES FOR PGDM - I
Final Presentation carries 50 Marks. It splits in to two parts.
1) Presentation Report in Word Doc 30 Marks 2) Presentation PPT 20 Marks
GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTATION REPORT (WORD DOC) SUBMISSION
1. Write original report. Copy pasting (plagiarism) is strictly not allowed. Any kind of
copying will lead to rejection of the report
2. Follow the exact sequence of content as specified in this instruction
3. Company has been allocated to each student, list is displayed in the notice board
4. Student should refer to www.aceanalyser.com or the suggested websites for collecting
facts and figures Fundoodata.com; company website, bizstats.com; business.gov.in;
IBEF.org
5. Images from the internet can be included with relevance to the subject matter
6. Specify the source (website) while specifying the Facts & Figures
7. Use a cover page
8. Generate Table of Content automatically and not manually
9. Fonts Size of 11 for body, 14 for Heading 1 and 13 for Heading 2 should be used
10. Font Type of Times New Roman for the body and Cambria for the heading should be used
11. Use break page to write in a new page
12. Submission date for report is 10th November, 2016; 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM
13. Presentation Report will carry 30 marks and Power Point Presentation will carry 20 marks.
14. Final presentation is tentatively scheduled immediately after submission of project.
EXPECTED CONTENT OF PRESENTAT ION REPORT (50 MARKS)
A) ASPECT COVERED SECTORAL INFORMATION (5 Marks)
1. Provide sectoral information. Cover the following content while presenting the facts
about the sector allocated to you.
1. Worldwide sectoral Contribution to the World Economy (GWP) (Display through PieChart)
2. GDP % Contribution to the Indian Economy (Display through Pie-Chart)
3. Historical Growth/Degrowth Pattern observed in the last 5 years (refer to Indian Context)
(Display through Bar - Graph)
4. Explain the reasons for the Growth/Degrowth pattern observed in the sector. (Write in
points and explain each point in 2-3 sentences.)
5. Porters Five Forces Model (diagram to elaborate indicators of sector)

In PPT, you may use 2-3 slides to cover this and 2 minute to explain the slides.

B) ASPECT COVERED COMPANY INFORMATION (5 Marks)


2. Provide company information. Cover the following content while presenting the facts
about the company allocated to you.

Market Share of the company (Display through Pie-Chart)

In PPT, you may use 2-3 slides to cover this and 2 minutes to explain the slides.

HR PROJECT GUIDELINES :

Students need to prepare the project on Company allotted with

Business Model or Process
Values
Organization Structure
3 JD (one from Marketing, one from Finance, one from HR
Function [Enry level)
Competencies and Key skills required for above jobs
Recruitment and Selection Process
Training & Development methods used in company
Performance Appraisal methods used in company
Employee Engagement Activities performed
Assume CTC for two Positions in the organization, and create
the Break up with various salary components.

GUIDELINES FOR FINAL PPT PRESENTATION (20 Marks)


1. Standard PPT template approved by PIBM should be used using white background and
blue/black text color. The same will be mailed to you
2. Reference/Resources should be mentioned as footers in respective slides
3. Relevant images and graphs should be used to represent data
4. Fonts Size of 36 for heading and 28 or 24 for body should be used
5. Font Type of Times New Roman for both the heading and body
6. Slides should not be cluttered and with not more than 3 points
7. Use of audio-visual medium is preferred
8. Google, the internet, Wikipedia and slideshare.com are not acceptable resources of
data
9. Plagiarism is strictly not allowed

10. Presentation duration should be around 10 minutes


11. Maximum no. of slides permitted is 20
12. Any presentation without data support and data analysis will not be accepted and that
presentation will be given zero mark. Source of data has to be clearly mentioned.
