Taiz Raftaar delivery service has a fresh approach to same day delivery services. At Taiz Raftaar
deliveries our friendly and efficient team is dedicated to provide you with a consistently high

confidential, fragile, and urgent or time sensitive.
The word Taiz Raftaar means fast travelling indicate the delivery of items or goods in time.
The Taiz Raftaar service is started by one of the student of Im sciences Peshawar. The service is
stated in August 2011 which main focus was the delivery of prospectus and university form of
different universities in Peshawar. The business was eventually successful but closed after few
months when one partner fall out of the business and it whole business was closed.
The business was reestablished in 2015 with new partners and expanding services to different
categories like food and documents etc. The inspiration of starting business was that founder of
Taiz Raftaar once in institute noticed that students coming from different areas waiting for taking
prospectus and it take too much time and hurdle for them to waiting for prospectus in summer
and especially for students coming from distant areas.
Initially 10 lac investment was made by total three partners named Yousaf Khan, Saranjam Khan
and Muhammad Sohail. Saranjam Khan left the partnership, now businesses is running by two
partners and making monthly revenue of 1 lac per month. Yousaf Khan is main partner who
controlling Finance and marketing operations while Saranjam Khan is dealing in call operator
between customer and bikers.
With four motorcycle at that time, group of these young, talented amateurs covered orders of
whole Peshawar city especially Hayatabad and Town. Their passage towards success continued
and they expanded their business with inclusion of new segments like food and collaboration
with different courier and cash on delivery systems across the country. If further gave boos to
Taiz Raftaar and expanded its working mechanism to as much as seven bikes. Taiz Raftaar team
is still working hard and is determined to take it to new heights of success and going to start its
services in Rawalpindi in coming month.
Group members perform different tasks according to their capabilities .They believe in team
work as each and every member have complementary skills and are committed in a common
purpose of delivery quality services to their customers .They have a friendly environment and
support each other in their tasks and works as a cross functional team when there need emerge.
Promoting is developing in Peshawar, distinctive startup have been begun in Peshawar. Taiz
Raftaar ought to need to adjust their methodology to the market requests and client decisions.

polio campaigns are another issue for the delivery service. Because during the polio
campaigns and other situations the service is affected, due to which customer can be
dissatisfied.
7. Too much less marketing advertising mediums.
Some of the problems which need changes for Taiz Raftaar needs to consider are the
followings.
Taiz Raftaar can control these challenges if they came up with some strategic planning and
strategy. They have to work on these challenges in order to increase their performance and as
well their profitability. Today every business is in innovation, because this is knowledge area and

customer have knowledge, and different choices and taste. To remain relevant to the market and
get competitive advantage organization need to be innovative.
Taiz Raftaar has now many competitors in Peshawar, they have to compete with them.
Competing with competitor organization need to be order winner in the market. Organization has
to work on new services and do research on new services.
Some of the problems which need changes for Taiz Raftaar needs to consider are the followings.
Problems which need to address by Taiz Raftaar are following:
1. Lack of skilled labor in the local market :
Taiz Raftaaris operating currently in Peshawar market, where there is lack of skilled
and technical labor. They have low education and communication skills. As Taiz
Raftaar was the first business in the Peshawar market thats why they have not find
meet the required skilled labor for this kind of delivery services. As the labor is
illiterate so the communication skills are also not up to the mark , they cannot access
to the information technology nor do they can effectively fulfilling customers needs .
Solution to Problem:

Hire Professionals from TCS LCS and other logistics services.


Organization need to hire trainer to in order to properly and efficiently training of
workers.
The riders should be trained practically to how communicate with customers.

2. Lack of sufficient guideline:


Taiz Raftaar was a new and the first idea of delivery services with more segments in the
Peshawar market. It was a tough job for the team as there was no guideline and such a business
like Taiz Raftaar from which they can get help.
Solution to Problem:

For that they provide customers with fully written brochure explaining circumstances of
delivering services and its function.

3. Security Issues:

The other issue that is in Peshawar regarding our services is security concerns and it has caused a
lot issues to our industry. Too much security issues that cause issues in delivery solution to
challenges. Because of Security issues bikes cant move freely in city and unable to deliver
things from door to door.
Solution to Problem:

For this they have to talk with security agencies for giving them special passes to those
areas where bikes are not allowed.

4. Advertising Mediums:
In Peshawar the one main problem that companies faces specially those who start up is lack of
advertising mediums.

Solution to Problem:

For this problem we come up with solution that vinyl sticker on homes for remembrance.
Bill Boards should be used for advertising in targeted areas.

5. The challenge of natural disaster and uncontrollable events and issues of staff safety
Uncontrollable events like earth quack, rain and disasters and sometimes strikes can affect the
operations of the business. They have no proper insurance policy program for their workers in
order to compensate the worker. Absent of insurance policy make workers less motivated.
As these events are not in control of the company is not in the position to control it. In order to
bring the insurance policy for workers the organization profit margins will be effected, because
the insurance policy cost will be a burden by the company.
Solution to Problem
Company must make the insurance policy of its assets which can bring them some reliefs in face
of lose. In this way company can reduces the risks of uncontrollable and natural disasters. They
have to compensate their employees by insurance policy. For this they need to make an
agreement with an insurance company. They also need to inform the worker about their
insurance policy.
6. Manmade calamities

There bas law & order situation in KPK. Every day there are strikes, blasting, and political
campaigns, which can affect the operation of the business. These manmade calamities decrease
the operations of the business. There is no political stability in KPK. And there is also no proper
law and order situation. Every day there is political campaigns, and strikes by unions of different
political parties. This makes problems for the soft operations of the business.
Solution to Problem
In order to overcome this man made calamities Taiz Raftaar need to maintain good relations whit
government entities. They also need to increase the CSR activity in area in order to get the
attention and help of the government.
7. Complexity in business structure
The business structure is very complex, because they are dealing more than 40 segments of
services. There is also no feedback system for customer to get feedback from them. They are
focusing on different segments which require different skills. As the quality of services is
difficult to be judged as compared to the tangible products moreover it is time consuming to
create a proper structure for the business operations. Making proper feedback system is very
tough job and requires more time.
Solution to Problem
Taiz Raftaar needs to create a proper feedback system in order to get feedback from the
customer. Because feedback can give advantage to the business and business can improve their
performance by taking suggestion from its customers. They have also need either to focus on one
segment, or make a proper structure for their operation in order to enhance the performance.
More ever they can gain effective suggestions from customers in the form of feedback which can
help them in making their strategy as the market led perspective of operation strategy is gaining
more and more importance in todays competitive environment.
9. Lack of automation & IT
Taiz Raftaar has low touch of it & automation. There most operations are running on cell-phone
through which they connect with customers. They get order from the customer and then informed
rider about the customer order and deliver the product to the customers. There are also problems
in network on special occasions, likes EID, MUHHARM.
Taiz Raftaar is a venture of business students; none of them have any adequate computers and IT
Skills which are necessary for the automation and operation of business. There are also lack of
software and IT systems, and software in Peshawar market. There is no software for the
operation and planning to improve the performance.

Solution to Problem
Taiz Raftaar must install system software in their organization in order to make easy the
operation. They need to fully computerize their system. There is different software currently
available in the market to trace the riders location. With tracing riders on time they can make
more delivery at one time, which will improve the customer satisfaction. They must introduce
information technology in their system as other business are constantly using it .Use of
information technology can give them a competitive advantage over the others. These changes
can create barriers (although these may not be a barrier for ever) for the businesses that are
entering the delivery service market in coming future.
