True: Trump was being sued by Justice Department in 1973 for racial
discrimination.
-Him and his father denied access to African-Americans to live in these
apartments, labeling people of colors applications with a C for colored.
Trump and his father were then sued by the justice department for breaking the
Fair Housing Act of 1968. The case was privately settled and Trump claimed that
he did not make an admission of guilt.

African-Americans who turned in an application, which was labeled C, would
mean that they would have been denied access to living in the apartments. Trump
later denied and counter-sued the DOJ (Department Of Justice) for $100 million.
His lawyer claims that the entire investigation was Gestapo-like. Thomas
Miranda, a realtor of Trump, was instructed to separate white applications from
non-white application. Miranda didnt want Elyse Goldweber, the attorney on the
case, to disclose his name because he was afraid that the Trumps would have
him knocked off.
