On a day at work, you need to prioratise your work, ensure accurate and efficient delivery. Have close
relation ship with all subordinates, superiors, ensure no ambiguity prevails among the team members.
Delegate work as much as possible maintaining the level of confidentiality and based on authority
level.
When the work load increase, ensure to distribute the work in a balanced manner also ensure all
customers requirements are completed in time and efficiently.
During my tenure, I have learned to have listening capacity, how to solve employees problems, also
learned how to provide necessary advises to all superiors, conduct meetings, etc.

procedures has been accepted and implemented in the company. All my subordinates were very

Air quality Technician (Former Employee), Doha, Qatar October 2, 2015

The daily activities for all 7 air quality station with 18 instruments per station will keep you fully
occupied for the day except when you need to perform trouble shooting due to instrument failure was

notice. Things are learned on the actual maintenance of the instrument being work with like how to
removed the components the easy way and to install it. how to easy determine and put the instrument
back to operation the most in no time to avoid long down time. The management is well organizer thru
the ISO system. All co-workers are very cooperative and easy to approach with. I find the most
hardest part of the job is when you need the spare parts and they can not produce on time. I have
enjoyed all days I have worked with cause i love my profession as air quality technician/Engineer.

Admin Assistant (Current Employee), Doha, DAW May 17, 2015

Pros: annual get to gather

Cons: health care
A typical day at work will be very busy day, since working hours starts early then it will also be a long
day,I usually start at my workstation before moving here and there between the reception, the archiving
office and so.My routine things to do will be always handling some employee leave or sick
leave, sometimes it's an escort leave for a change lol.Anyways the reception area is always very busy
with the non stop ringing telehpone or visitors coming for meeting,or suppliers coming to deliver
something or collect something from one of the employee and it is always difficult to convince them to

wait until the employee comes since no one likes to wait and their car parked wrongly (it is very
difficult to find car parking in the building where I'm working). With no lunch break and 8 continues
working hours gives me some real headache sometimes but I guess this is the situation at all the big
companies after all I have gained 8 yeas of well experionce in the place where I'm working now.

Work is fair. Communication with supervisors is good. Any problem one may encounter is not
considered as a problem but as a challenge to how he can deal with it the best way that could be.
Team work is the title of work there. The hardest part of the job is continuous development. and the

competence in what one had taught them.

Management and leadership competencies are in development and not up to standards experienced
in US and EU companies.
Ease of doing business is low given heavy internal processes and as confirmed by the World Bank
ranking for Qatar.
