Volcan and Boquete

Volcan and Boquete are two destinies that each year attracts thousands of tourists both nationals

and foreign, that due to the beauty of its landscapes and its attractions, though both places are

similar and also have their differences. Similar in that they have the same climate, are engaged in

agriculture, being the main source of income, like cattle, one of the leading producers of dairy

country. Except that Boquete it is largely dedicated to the cultivation of coffee, which are the best

coffees of Panama and the world as the coffee Geisha who recently won the title of best coffee in

the world. We also see a big difference between Volcan and Boquete, and that gap is better

organized and has very clear what it is to care for the environment and because of this have made

many improvements in its infrastructure, such as when cutting a tree that I carve in form of some

animal, which makes the attention of people, in addition to beautify the landscape, however
Volcan

looks like a village with many garbage and low knowledge about how to care about the

envioronment. Another difference, Volcan is not sufficiently developed in the concept of growing

the city to save after all these years only there are a few new buildings, while in Boquete we can

see all sides malls, plazas making boost economy from town. And finally both are tourist sites in

Volcan visiting sites barrels, lagoon, hike or climb the volcano and there are some travel
agencies

that provide this service and there are some hotels like the Bambito, Two rivers and some
hostels,

too many foreigners found to Volcan the perfect place to live, but the tourism is not as big as

Boquete because wherever you go you will find hostels, hotels that offer tours, either walking,

climb the volcano, canoping , coffee tour and even tours to San Blas, Bocas del Toro, Santa

Catalina, smallmouth and others, and there are many travel agencies that offer rental bikes,

bicycles, where you can discover the town and also provide you the opportunity to canoping ,

rafting. Boquete also have great restaurants such as Panamontes, La Posada Boquetea, Baru

Restaurant among others, which always have live music. In gap many foreigners have found the

perfect place to live and spend his last days, they only areas such as Valle Escondido or others

who prefer to live in any part of Boquete site. Boquete also has information sites where tourists

can be informed which activities it may undertake and which places these information sites are

one in viewpoint which is called Cefati and the other at low Boquete, these are a great help to

tourists . In Sum, Volcan and Boquete are beautiful places, where you can make internal
tourism,

but I feel Volcan should learn from Boquete in tourism development and invest more in the

improvement of these, as you can tell when you visit these places the big difference. Volcan
looks

different next to Boquete, when you get to Boquete seems like you are in another place and does

not seem to be part of Panama, for these reasons I prefer Boquete.
