Objectives:
To Understand the concepts and intricacies of International Business
To enable the students to understand the importance of market liberalization &
privatisation.
To make the student realize how International Business affects everyones life and
improves our standard of living
Expected Outcome:
The students will be in a position to prepare the International Business Environmental
Analysis, know about Trade Blocks, MNCs role and the implications of the Indian
industries on the International Business. The students can use the concepts for
evaluating current global developments.

Basic Concepts: Scope and characteristics of International Business, Factors driving to
go international Role of MNCs - Emergence of Indian industries in the Global Context,
Domestic versus International Business.
