Associated Learning Standard(s): The resource may be generally applicable, if so, simply state that.
List any ISTE-S standards that seem to naturally align with the selected resource.
This source is specifically for sharing things found on the computer. Especially with the screenshot
capabilities that make it easy to share things seen on just your screen. However, Macs can do this
feature all on their own by simply pressing Command+Shift+4.

RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Jing is a downloadable software from TechSmith. It sits in the right-hand corner of your screen and looks
like a sun (which is really cool). You can screenshot things, share things from your computer, and more.
Jing automatically saves everything youve captured so you dont have to.

INTEGRATION/IMPLEMENTATION IDEA - SCREENCASTING

How might you use this resource to promote student learning? Describe who will be doing the
screencasting you or your students, and what purpose it will serve.
This software could easily be used to create a presentation that needs research. Instead of manually
typing all of the information they could screenshot information and pictures to place directly in their
presentations.

selected resource? (On the Value-Added Rating Scale above)
Explain your rating based on the indicators on the rubric.

I would give this software a 3! It is very unique, aligns to ISTE content standards, and completely
transforms a lesson by keeping the students engaged using a fun way to create presentations.
