AMS for HELICOPTERS

This presentation has been designed to
show you how a company, operating
and maintaining a fleet of aircraft, uses
AMS system.

It covers the process of creating an

aircraft in the system and a routine
maintenance simulation process.

User creation
The User Module allows you to assign your team roles and responsibilities within the
system through the configuration of specific rights. Your system administrator will be
able to manage the users profiles.

Rotorcraft Creation
This window allows you to create new aircraft within the system. It also allows you to
define specific information such as cycles and default warnings.

AMM Main Menu

This is the softwares main menu / home page. From this page you can access all
functionalities.

Flight Times & Cycle Entries

This window can be used* to update aircraft time by transferring the information
from the journey log or by simply replacing the previous total with the new hours
and or cycles.

*another option is available

Defects
If the pilot has reported defects, you can log them in the software in anticipation of
a follow-up at a later date.

Aircraft Main Menu

The aircrafts main menu screen allows you to perform all operations related to the
aircraft.

Aircraft Data
This section allows you to list all components, groups or assemblies as well as
maintenance actions not associated to components. For every entry, you are able to
do a follow-up in terms of hours, calendar time and cycles

Aircraft Data
The AD section allows you to follow-up on ADs, SBs and SLs, etc. They can be
recurrent or unique. AMM can generate a performance report when required.

Aircraft Data
The inspection section will allow you to create the inspections required by the
aircraft manufacturer.

Maintenance Planning
The Forecast List contains all the maintenance tasks that are due or required to be
performed shortly .

Maintenance Planning
With the new color coded status you can easily see what needs to be updated right
in the component manager, ADs/SBs and inspections.

Maintenance Planning VS Logistics

Maintenance Planning VS Logistic

Requisition
AMS uses the Requisition to open a need expression in the system. Particularly
relevant to trigger needs for a specific maintenance activity*.

*The requisitions list is automatically updated

Maintenance Planning VS Logistic

Quotation
If the part is not in stock you can easily create and send a quotation to multiple
suppliers to confirm costs and availability

Maintenance Planning VS Logistic

Purchase Orders
Once the quotation is received, you can create a Purchase Order and track the
status of it. The same module will be used to receive the part in your inventory.

Maintenance Execution
This step involves planning and requesting maintenance activities. The system can
automatically generate a work order containing all maintenance tasks that are due
or need to performed shortly, as well as all defects that are not repaired. In this
report, you can remove the tasks you do not wish to complete immediately. In order
to assist you in this decision, the system temporarily and conveniently displays the
remaining time for each item.

Maintenance Execution
The work order that will allow your mechanics to enter the corrections associated to
every task and to sign-off when necessary. For companies wishing to limit the
system access, work orders can be printed in two different formats. Examples of
these formats are shown in the following slide.

Maintenance Planning VS Logistics

Quarantine
The system was designed to allow a connection between the inventory and work
orders functionalities. A simple click enables the replacement of a component by
another. The removed component will automatically be quarantined or scraped.

Operation cost/Invoice
To track the cost associated with your maintenance activity AMS uses the invoice or
Op cost. These features are also used in order to issue parts out of your store.

Examples of Work Orders & Job Cards

Your mechanics can transcribe the modifications/changes needed directly on the
printed reports. Following the maintenance execution, your data records personnel
can enter / update the information into AMS.

Maintenance Certification
Here is the completed work order which contains the mechanics electronic
signature. Electronic signature can completely eliminate the need to produce a
paper version of the report.

Examples of Work Reports & Form 337

Here is an example of a completed
work report with electronic
signatures.

Here is an example of a Form 337

automatically generated by the
system from the work report.

Examples of technical booklet entries

Here is an example of the technical booklet entries which can be printed on selfadhesive paper and archived appropriately. The system generates the log book, the
airframe log, the engine log, the propeller log and the AD, SB and modification log.

System Update
Once work is completed, you simply have to update the information in the
program. This can be done quickly within the same window. Replacement of a
component can also be authenticated using the functionalities in this window.

Necessary Pilot Information

AMS allows you to generate a Flag Card containing the needed information to
advise your pilot of incoming maintenance tasks. The Flag Card also provides you
with the list of uninstalled components, unrepaired defects and can also include
aircraft weight and CG data. Various notes and comments can be attached to the
Flag Card.

Status Example
Here is an example of a report containing aircraft status. This report contains the
list of all components, recurrent ADs and inspections with all related information.

Examples of an AD Compliance Report

Here is the AD, SB and SL compliance report. It contains all the related information
from the most recent execution.

Examples of an Invoice
The link between the work order and the inventory allows the system to generate
an invoice or a cost report including task description, list of parts and labor. On the
last page of the invoice, you will find applicable taxes and totals.

Transaction Report
In order to simplify accounting duties, the AMS system generates a report with
every transaction and inventory reconciliation. This report can exported in an
EXCEL file format.

New Key Feature For AMS

The new MySQL service allows AMS to be faster than EVER
The security is improved
New color system integrated in AMM for easy reading
Much better defects management

Manage quantities per base on requisition

and much more !

Airworthiness Made Smarter

AMS offers a completely integrated system with all the functionalities you need to
optimize and standardize your processes.
This document is a brief overview of our systems possibilities. We would like to
offer you a free guided demo to illustrate further possibilities.
