The USC Wrigley Institute Sustainability Prize

The USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies is proud to announce a new environmental/
sustainability innovation competition at USC to promote marketable ideas that can result in
meaningful environmental change - the USC Wrigley Sustainability Prize. The competition is open
to USC undergrads, grads, faculty and staff teams from all disciplines (teams can be mixed, as
long as there is student involvement in each group).

The competition is now open, with applications due February 10th. Applicants will be invited to
attend a business workshop where environmental and entrepreneurial experts will share
valuable commercial skills to help teams refine their concepts and develop a business pitch.
Finalists will then present their concepts to a panel of judges and audience at a quick pitch
showcase event in April 2017. The winning team will receive $7,000 to help make their
sustainable idea a reality, and mentorship from the panel.
