Focus Evaluation and Reflection Document
An evaluation also needs to be discussed in your folio at the end of your folio and once your final artworks are completed.
You are required to write a summary that covers the focus of your folio, reflection on the trials and work, evaluation as to
what you might have discovered from the design process and creating in relation to your exploration proposal.
Begin by discussing the focus of the folio, referring back to your exploration proposal. Give some insight as to the subject
matter you have been exploring. A general overview to what worked and what didnt work.

Describe the processes and techniques you have used to produce the final artworks. Give information as to any refocusing
you may have had to adapt along the way and explain why. Ensure you discuss the refinement of the artwork and ideas
which you depict.

Give an explanation as to how your final artworks relate back to the potential directions. Try to include art language which
informative.
4.
Give an explanation as to how the final artworks are linked together. Discuss the ways in which you have presented the
artworks and how that may assist the audience interpreting artwork. Give an evaluation on how the artworks are presented and the success of links established.
5.
Include some visual references in your document that example the finished artworks and any important developments
which assist in the discussion of folio focus.
6.
Explain the use of materials and techniques and the aesthetic qualities in the final artworks and how they communicate
and/or resolve your ideas.
7.
Reflect on how your ideas have been communicated, resolved and realized in all of your finished artworks.
