Investigatory Projects- Physics
As per C.B.S.E. guidelines, all students have to prepare one Investigatory Project carrying 3 marks. All
students are therefore, advised to prepare one Investigatory Project on any one of the following
topics or any other topic of their choice based on concept of physics after consulting the teacher
during the summer vacation.

POINTERS FOR MAKING PROJECT REPORT


The material should be placed and bound in the following order:

To study and construct A.C.Generator/ Motor


To study and construct Transformer
To study and show Diffraction of light
To investigate the dependence of the angle of deviation on the
angle of incidence, using a hollow prism filled, one by one, with
different transparent fluids.
Use of semiconductor devices (transistor) as amplifier, oscillator,
fire alarm, rain alarm, etc.
To study and construct one way or two way intercom
To study Faraday law of EMI (self & mutual induction)

Students have to prepare investigatory projects on the topic given to them.

1. To compare foaming capacity of different soaps.


2. Study the presence of oxalate ions in guava at different stages of
ripening.
3. Study the effect of potassium bisulphate as food preservative under
various conditions.
4. To analyse different tooth paste for analysis of ions.
5. Estimation of vitamin C in fruits and vegetables.
6. Study of adsorption of acetic acid on charcoal.
7. Study the effect of metal coupling on rusting of irons.
8. To determine total hardness in water sample.
9. To study effectiveness of different commercial antacids.
10.Study of common food adulterants in fat, oil, butter, sugar, turmeric
powder, chilli powder and pepper.

Mathematics

Practise six questions on daily basis.


Solve the given assignment

English

Learn all the given notes of taught chapters in the class.


Listen the sent recordings of navel and chapters.
Revise all the tenses and write in the fair copy from present indefinite to future
perfect continuous.

Physical Education
Revise chapter one and two.
Make a file of Arjun Award winners, Rajiv Gandhi Award winners,
Dronacharaya Award winners and Olympic winners and National and
International records in athletics.
