Steps for installation of new motor :

1. First we need to check specification of motor as per SLD.
2. Check the insulation level of motor winding (P-P,PE).
3. Check the foundation of motor and motor assemble parts (Shaft,
fan).
4. Check the MCC Panel and assemble parts (Contactors, controls,
cable, timers).
5. Connect the power cable to the motor terminal box as per current
rating.
6. Set the relay setting below the rated value.
7. check all the connection at panel and motor side (Meter).
8. Check the motor control circuit in the test position.
9. If is it ok, we can on/off (1sec) motor without connecting any load
and pump.
10. If is it ok ,we can start motor without load (without connecting
pump) and check there voltage , current at MCC Panel side and
vibration (bearings motor side) .
11. After that we can check the motor with load (or pump) and check
the voltage , current at MCC Panel side and vibration (bearings
