eTwinning project Planet Diversity description (October 2015)

About the project

This project aims to develop the concept of citizenship, social skills and creative thinking of pupils and to explore
emotions and basic human values through the creative approach of the book The little Prince, by Antoine de Saint
Exupery. Initially, all partners-educators form a Repository of resources, tools, and activities. Then, partner-pupils
are divided into interschool groups: team astronomers, team geographers, team philosophers, team artists,
active team. In line with the subject of each interschool team they approach the book creatively and collectively
create digital objects-presentations, which they share via videoconference with the other partners for feedback.
They create collaborative digital book with the results of their work. Then they create the planet Diversity and
present it with artworks, digital maps, active games, they explore and form the values and principles of the
inhabitants and everything else that will emerge from the creative work. The results are presented in a collective
digital book or multimedia poster. Finally, pupils compare Planet Diversity with the European Union and share
thoughts and feelings on the project.
