In the video, Mufti Menk talks about the relationship between husband and wife in
Islam and he stated that every creature in this world has created in pairs, which is man and
women and Allah give us a spouse so that we can enjoy their company, get pleasure and have
fun and create a happiness with them. Allah has created marriage so that the people may love
each other and it is one of the easy task because nobody can be left with an excuse for not to
get married. He also stated that women is a gift from Allah to the man and must be treated
with special care because it is a blessings from Allah to man. Mufti Menk also stated that
communication is essential in marriage and if you have a problem, you should talks about it
with your partner. You also need to trust with each other and if you want a happy home and
happy marriage then its very important that you spend time with one another, you need to
tolerate each others small faults. That are most of the things that been stated by Mufti Menk
in this video.
Marriage is a beautiful things and it is a blessing from Allah the Almighty God to His
creation. We as a Muslim must treated our husband and wife because they are the blessings
that been bestow upon us by Allah.

In marriage it is all about sacrifice, the act of

reciprocation, which is the act of give and take in relationship between husband and wife is
important to the marriage in order for it to stay strong and not collapse. There are many cases
in the world that associated the collapsed in the marriage institution with the issues of no trust
or the husband and wife do not tolerate with each other. That is why, the most important part
in marriage is the trust between the two couple who married with each other and without
trust, there will be no happy family. There are many more things that couple must do in order
for the marriage to stay happy and not collapsed for example, forgive and forget is important
because revenge can create a chaos in family constitution. When there is a conflict in the
marriage, divorce is not the best solution although it is permitable in Islam, we as a couple

must try to save the marriage first, and if we cannot save it, after that divorce will become the
choice.
In conclusion, marriage is a blessing from Allah to the mankind and we as a Muslim
need to prepared ourselves before we get married because marriage is not for one day or one
night, it is for the rest of our lives. So, Muslim must prepared themselves with knowledge
about marriage and through the family and parenting subject, I can learn how to tackle with
marriage issues in the future.
