PRESS RELEASE

WE LAUD DOWNTOWN NEW YORK.

Our manifesto is A Show of Wonder, a Show of Surprise. That is exactly
what we envision at The L - a vital union of sentiments from a classic
speakeasy, and plush cocktail lounge. Inspirited by the Beat Poets and the
glitz of the Paris Jazz Age, we aim to embody a culture of intimacy above all.
From the industrial matte black ceiling coating the room, to the romance of
emerald banquettes - an anything goes attitude is our patois.
Late nights are a lifestyle. And catering to our connoisseurs, every night at
the L will yield a rare and surprising program. From film screenings, art
exhibits, poetry readings, tarot, astrology readings, and an array of arts &
crafts focused late nights, here it is playtime. While so much sharing is afoot
at our communal table - set and dressed at the center of the room - we also
oer enough seclusion with 50-seats for private exchanges or games.

GET RIGHT DOWN L.

A bold rarity in New York, we are set discreetly below a restaurant, bunked
underground to teleport you to an unreal world with real old-world soul.
The private entrance is made up of a hallway lined with vintage wine cellar
shelves acting as VIP lockers reserved for friends and family. And the menu
reflects our feelings: an unexpected cocktail program by top-shelf
mixologists and a powerhouse gourmand and renowned chef bearing small
plates of Oaxacan cuisine.
The L is dusky and mysterious, yet completely approachable. The spaces
lack of windows establish a time-free environment, where guests mingle at
their leisure no matter the hour. Satin emerald sofas lining the walls
encourage guests to sit, relax, and feel comfortable in an unfamiliar space.

cocktail program. Each cocktail names are derived from Grace Lees
influence in lyrical philosophy, aesthetic poetry, music mythology, and
female inspired leaders.

WE ARE, SIMPLY, OUT OF THE ORDINARY.

Apart from the hidden space, the vision of creating a new epicenter for
all creative-types to gather in Manhattan feels oh-so-good. Here you will
find details to fall in love with: a book shelf stacked with gold-bounded
hardcover books empty and blank ready to be written by strangers, a
neon sign inspired by Michelangelos Creation of Adam. Or is it the
small plate menu created by secret chef inspired by Oxaca street-food
cuisine? Or that every season a new artist will mark the spot with a
mural up and outside in the street, starting with artist Hisham
Bharoocha? Meet us below and conquer the night; a show of wonder, a
show of surprise, a show of your own.
