state and national parks as well as open space in the countryside,

In my childhood I seen many public spaces in my city and near
my homes. later changes on land use pattern due to rapid
urbanization and industrial growth it get disappear and I visited
many cities in India in that many Cities are good in public spaces
like Gandhi nagar, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune In Tamilnadu like
Chennai Coimbatore are good examples for the public spaces. At
metropolitan scale, cities growth leads to the sprouting of new
cities inside the city, especially due to large urban
developments. Urbanization occurs regardless of morphology,
solar exposition, hydrology and ecological systems, frequently
with no concern or respect regulations and land use
management. Urban Planning tries to achieve solutions
compatible with human needs and environmental requirements,
in order to change this situation inherited from industrial
revolution and other sequence developments.

of cities and are of great importance for the urban culture and
city life. Traditional urban public spaces including streets,
squares, and parks have two major social functions: instrumental
and expressive. The former role ensures a physical link between
buildings and land uses and sustains the marketing,
manufacturing, administrative, and transportation activities of the
cities. The latter facilitates a link among people, facilities,
communication and interaction, thus serving to bind together the
social order of local community by creating a locus for randomize
social interaction, including recreation, conservation and
entertainment. Urban open space is often appreciated for the
recreational opportunities it provides. Recreation in urban open
space may include active recreation (such as organized sports
and individual exercise) or passive recreation, which may simply
entail being in the open space. Time spent in an urban open
space for recreation offers a reprieve from the urban environment
Participatory mainly it creates a social relationship with people
and make local resident relationship and encouraging the
government in decision making

political argues that one of the most important social
characteristics of cities is the provision of public spaces in which
