You will have such fun, creating these adorable little purses and accessories. The fabric for the purse, is
all thread! That means, that there is no limit as to the colors you can have! As long as you can nd the
thread color, you can make the bag! The designs include two little purses, an eyeglass case, and a tissue
holder, created and nished right in the hoop! The quick project is the adorable little kitty bag!

Sewing Supplies:
12x10 cotton fabric for embroidery
12x10 lining fabric
Cut-A-Way stabilizer
Tear-A-Way stabilizer
Variety of 40 wt. embroidery threads
Bobbin thread
All purpose sewing thread and bobbin
1yd. ribbon for the handles (optional)

Directions
1. Hoop the fabric and the Cut-A-Way stabilizer
2. Place the Tear-A-Way under the hoop
3. Embroider 920403 (dots) or 920404 (stripes), stopping
before the last two colors
are embroidered. The last two colors are straight lines
4. Place the lining fabric right side down on top of the embroidery.
5. Finish the embroidery in the hoop.

Remove the fabric from the hoop.


Remove the embroidery unit and set up for sewing.
Trim the 2 short ends so there will be a seam allowance.
Trim the fabric from the long sides leaving seam for seam allowances.
Sew up one long side and sew up the second long side leaving an
opening for turning the bag right side out.
Turn the bag right side out.
Fold the lining sides together and sew the sides closed.
Use the Edge Stitching Foot to keep an even distance from the edge.
Insert handles before you close the side seams. They can also be stitched to the inside of the purse next to the
side seams after the purse is sewn.

Sewing Supplies:
15x12 cotton fabric for embroidery
Approx. 4 x 7 cotton fabric for case back
8 square for lining
Cut-A-Way stabilizer
Tear-A-Way stabilizer
Variety of 40wt. embroidery threads
Bobbin thread
All purpose sewing thread and bobbin

Hoop the cotton 15 x 12 fabric and the Cut-A-Way stabilizer.


Place the Tear-A-Way stabilizer under the hoop.
Embroider 920402.
Remove the fabric from the hoop.
Remove the embroidery unit and set up for sewing.
Trim the embroidery to have seam allowances.
Cut a piece of fashion fabric to the same measurement as the embroidery for the back of the case.
Place the embroidered fabric and the back fabric right sides together.
Sew the sides and bottom edge.
Turn right side out.
Fold the lining in half right sides together.
Sew the side closed.
Leave the top and bottom open.
Place the eyeglass case inside the lining, right sides together and sew around the top edge. It will look like a tube.
Turn the case right side out.
Fold the bottom edge of the lining to the wrong side .
Sew the bottom edge of the lining closed and tuck it into the case

Tissue Holder
Sewing Supplies:
12x10 cotton fabric with interfacing fused to the wrong side
Cut-A-Way stabilizer
Tear-A-Way stabilizer
Variety of 40wt embroidery threads
Bobbin thread
All purpose sewing thread and bobbin
Sulky KK2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive

Directions
1. Hoop Cut-A-Way stabilizer.
2. Place interfaced fabric right side up on the stabilizer.
3. Baste the fabric into place.

4. Embroider design 920405 until color #6 is completed.
5. Remove the hoop from the embroidery unit. DO NOT REMOVE THE
FABRIC.
6. Cut a space of about into the fabric and the Cut-A-Way stabilizer up to
the stitched lines, as shown.
7. Lightly spray some Tear-A-Way with KK2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive
and place it under the hoop so that the spaces are lled with stabilizer
8. Change the bobbin for the same embroidery thread that is in the needle.
9. Replace the hoop on the embroidery unit.
10. Embroider color #7, the satin edges.
11. Remove the hoop from the embroidery unit. DO NOT REMOVE THE FABRIC.
12. Cut a straight line through the all the stabilizers and the fabric. Stay
at least away from the embroidery to just past the 4th embroidery
column at each end as shown.
13. Fold the satin stitched edges to the center slightly overlapping them.
14. Change the needle and bobbin for all purpose sewing thread.
15. Replace the hoop on the embroidery unit.
16. Stitch out color #8. This will sew the folded edges in place.
17. Remove from the hoop, trim away the excess fabric, leaving a
seam allowance and turn right side out.

1. Hoop the fabric and the Cut-A-Way stabilizer.
2. Embroider design 920401 following the diagram at the

9. Sew up one long side, then sew up the second long side leaving an opening for turning
the bag right side out.
