trade training facility.

This course is available at Goldfields


Institute of Technology, Kalgoorlie
Campus.

We will be taking enrolments over a


two week period from 19 May during
which time students will be required to
submit a resume outlining their work
experience and a portfolio containing
any relevant trade certificates, tickets
and licences.
Interviews will then be conducted
between 2 to 13 June to discuss
delivery, course content and a
personalised training plan.
It is recommended that you attend
one of the Induction Blocks as
listed.
Delivery will be self-paced flexible
training with course content to be
made available through our online
Learning Management System
Blackboard. Workbooks will also be
made available.
You will also be able to attend anytime
from Monday to Thursday during the
Flexible Practical and Assessment
Sessions listed below. The lecturer
will be available to support your
learning during these sessions.
Attendance is NOT compulsory for
the whole duration of these sessions.

COST
The cost will be $4100 for the full
course including an RPL (Recognition
of Prior Learning) component. The
RPL component will allow students
to be awarded MEM40105 Certificate
IV in Engineering (Instrumentation)
upon successful completion.
NOTE: Students who have recently
completed a Certificate III in Engineering
- Electrical/Electronic Trade under the
MEM30405 qualification may qualify for
exemptions and the cost will be reduced
accordingly.
