Our Cargo Finally Arrived!

PRAISE REPORTS:
Praise the Lord our pallets of

Bro. Gene Engles

These are the special edition

Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Missions New Testaments.

Dec. 2016

books, literature, materials, New

Testaments, & John-Romans finally got through customs and are
now in our possession.

The pallets were loaded

onto the cargo truck on Aug.
26, 2016 and arrived at the
port on Oct. 12, 2016.

MZBC workers and friends.

After many hours, trips,
paperwork, money & much
prayers, the cargo arrived on
Dec. 19 & 20, 2016.

We are so very thankful to the workers and friends of Mt. Zion Baptist
Church for helping us move boxes, palatize them, and ship them to the Philippines. Our boxes are loaded with ministry books, personal books, Special
Edition New Testaments, John-Romans, Sunday school materials, & flash-acards. Bro. Gene Engles is director of the Mt. Zion Baptist Churchs Bible Assembly ministry. He represents the many men, women, and children who
give of themselves three times a week to put together thousands of JohnRomans and other Gospel literature which goes all over the world. We are
super excited as now we have many of our personal belongings and plenty of
Gospel literature to use for evangelism. Would you pray for God to bless our
work for Him? We know you will. Our hearts desire is both faithfulness and
fruitfulness in His harvest field.

Emmanuel Requested a Bible, Received One, & a Bible Study.

He is a taxi driver who took me on one of
my many adventures to the various government bureaus. I pray and look for opportunities to be a witness and the Lord allowed
me to talk with Emmanuel. He discovered
that I am missionary an requested a Bible.
He then apologized and said that he was
not a Baptist. I told him the Bible is for all
men no matter who they are and no matter what they believe. I was especially burdened for him since he seemed sincere. I prayed about it and went
to a Christian bookstore and found a Tagalog Bible that had the English King
James Bible paralleled to it. It was exciting to be able to get that for him. I
texted him the next day and asked him to service me for another trip and
towards the end of that trip I gave him the Bible. He was so overjoyed. He
kissed it and said, Now, I have all of Gods words. I told him that I would
like to sit down with him and have a Bible study with him. So a couple of
days later, I was able to visit him in his house. After a couple of hours of careful study and answering his questions, he expressed great joy in saying that
he had indeed trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ as a young man. Sure enough,
I did not see any idols in his house which leads me to believe that he probably is a born again believer. I think it is amazing that God made a way to get
this man a Bible and used me in the process. God draws nigh when people
draw nigh to Him.

Praise God for allowing the Department of Finance, the National

Book Development Board, and the
Department of Foreign Affairs/
UNESCO to grant us a tax exemption for over $8,000.00 in customs.

Praise the Lord for helping me find

a printing company that will print
my Tagalog Gospel tract. I am
super excited about this since the
need for Tagalog tracts and literature is huge. The only ones that I
see distributing literature are the
Jehovahs Witnesses. With the
Lords help, this will soon change.

Praise the Lord my dual-citizenship

recognition is well on its way. I
was informed that my Identification Certificate is in and that it is
only awaiting a signatory's approval. As a dual citizen, I will not need
to worry about a visa and I can
function as a citizen of the Philippines.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

Pray for God to work in hearts of

the folks that we come in contact
with.

Pray for us to locate adequate

facilities to hold church services. I
am looking at a store front that is
for rent. Please pray that the owner would be amiable to my plans
of using the building for a meeting
place.

Pray for our health. We have had

many bouts with colds and allergies. I would appreciate it if you
would just pray for us on that
behalf.

Pray for a God-sent revival to

come to Ususan, Taguig. We know
that this district needs a church.

More Gospel Opportunities w/ Other Men: Ricky & Kerck.

Ricky serves as a security guard in our subdivision. As I was waiting for a tricycle ride outside the gate, he asked me an important question. Why are
there so many religions in the world? I was happy to give him some Bible
answers. Kerck is a repairman and he too had the same question. I wrote a
two page reply to their questions and will be converting it to a Tagalog Gospel tract. Ricky was appreciative and promised to read it thoroughly. Pray for
them to come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you for your love, prayers, & support. May you truly have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
