ABSTRACT

Schizophrenia one of the most important public health diseases facing human
society, this mental illness manifested by signs and symptoms that impair the
mental activity of the person, such as the ability to think creatively, to have close
social relationships with other human beings, to use language and express
ideas clearly or to experience and express a variety of emotions.
Being among the population as the most common and frequent paranoid
schizophrenia type characterized by the predominance of delusions and
hallucinations, severe injury to oneself and others.
Seeing paranoid schizophrenia since neuropsychology where brain function of
a person is examined, in order to identify brain structures and systems that are
affected and have these relationships with cognitive and behavioral disorders
.for this disease and to identify the origin of these neuropsychological disorders.
On the issue of schizophrenia there are numerous studies that have provided
new insight about the nature of the disease. In this paper the most important
aspects of paranoid schizophrenia and a review will be developed from the
standpoint of neuropsychology.
