BSEE Program Objectives

1. Provide the students with an education in the fundamentals of electrical

engineering that will allow them to be immediately competitive in industry or
in graduate work while provide the best opportunity for achieving full
potential.
2. Develop a sense of professional responsibility and social awareness.
3. Provide practical applications and hands-on work as evidence by laboratory,
design, project study, computer exercises and practicum courses. These
would help the students to work well whether independently or as part of a
group.

BSME Program Objectives

1.

Demonstrate the ability to apply principles of engineering, basic science, and

mathematics (including multivariate and differential equations) to model,
analyse, design, and realize physical systems, components or processes.
2. Work professionally in both thermal and mechanical system areas.
3. Demonstrate the ability to use mathematical and computational techniques
to analyse model, and design physical systems consisting of solid and fluid
components under steady state and transient conditions.
4. Explain the importance of the possession of professional licensure in the
practice of profession.

BSCE Program Objectives

1. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, engineering
sciences to the practice of civil engineering.
2. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyse and
interpret data.
3. An ability to design, build, improve and install systems or processes which
meet desired needs within realistic constraints.
4. An ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.
5. An ability to recognize, formulate, and solve civil engineering problems.
6. An understanding of the effects and impact of civil engineering projects on
nature and society, and of the civil engineerings model and ethical
responsibilities.
7. Specialized engineering knowledge in each applicable field, and the ability to
supply such knowledge to provide solutions to actual problems.
8. An ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing using the English
language.
9. An ability to engage in life-long learning and an acceptance of the need to
keep current of the development I n the specific field of specialization.

10.An ability to use the appropriate techniques, skills and modern engineering
tools necessary for the practice of civil engineering.
11.A knowledge of contemporary issues.

engineering that will allow him to be immediately competitive in industry or
in graduate work while providing him with the best opportunity for achieving
his full potential during his lifetime.
2. Develop a sense of professional responsibility and social awareness.
3. Provide practical application as evidenced by laboratory, design, project
study, computer exercises and practicum courses. These would help the
student to work well whether independently or as part of a group.
