a)
b) An ability to design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze and interpret data.
Level of Achievement :
Students are able to design a component, and are able to analyze its ability to perform in
specific applications. They design components for designing vehicles for highly poised
competitions like SAE Baja Competitions, etc.
c) An ability to design a system, selection of appropriate materials and production
methods or process for the components to meet desire needs within realistic constraints
such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety,
manufacturability, quality and sustainability.
Level of Achievement :
Production Engineering students will be able to design a system by using the concepts of
product design they were able to create components by considering aspects like economic,
environmental, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, assemble and disassembly ,quality
and sustainability.
Level of Achievement:
Production students will be able to work in multidisciplinary groups with design, manufacturing
assembly& marketing people to design a system or component by understanding various
practical difficulties.
e) An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
Level of Achievement:
Our students will able to identify, formulate & solve engineering problem by using the
concepts they leant in this subject.
h) The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a
global, economic, environmental and societal context.
Level of Achievement:
By studying this course the students will be able to understand the needs of customers and
arrive at a solution in relation to that need.
k)
An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for
engineering practice
Level of Achievement:
By studying this course the students are able use the engineering tools like TRIZ ,
Altshullers inventive principles etc for designing a component and by using modern
software for drafting and manufacturing it for a specific requirement.
