Inovao: alguns conceitos


Edquist (1997) considera que inovaes so criaes com
significado econmico. Podem ser novas, mas podem
tambm ser novas combinaes de elementos antigos.
A emergncia e difuso do conhecimento desempenham um
papel central no complexo processo de inovao, uma vez que
o conhecimento posteriormente transformado em novos
produtos e processos de produo. O processo de inovao
envolve cincia, a tecnologia, aprendizagem, produo,
poltica e procura.
