Graphing Polynomial Functions

Do as directed. (5 points each)

A. Sketch the graph of each polynomial function. Describe the graph by giving some of its properties
like the factored form ( if it needs to be expressed in factored form ), the end behaviour, number of
turning points, the zeros, the intercepts, some points by constructing a table of values ( at least 3
points in between the leftmost x-intercept and rightmost x-intercept excluding the x-intercepts
and y-intercept), and relative maximum/minimum, if there is any.

B. Sketch the graph of each polynomial function. Describe the graph by giving some of its properties:
all the possible rational zeros; the number of possible (+) zeros, ( - ) zeros, and ( i ) zeros by
Descartes
rule of signs; the factored form (if it can be factored into linear binomial factors); the number of turning
points; and the y-intercept. If it cannot be factored completely into linear binomial factors, graph the
polynomial function using any Graphing Application Software (geogebra) and approximate the
x-intercepts, and the relative maximum/minimum, if there is any. Give also some points on the graph
by constructing a table of values ( at least 3 points in between the approximated leftmost x-intercept
and rightmost x-intercept excluding the x-intercepts and y-intercept).
