UNIQUE FEATURES
Highest ever energy savings by a building of its size (55%) Being targeted by any building
in India, against the baseline bench march E.P.I. (Energy Performance Index) as per GRIHA
criterion 14, of 110 KWh/m/year, to a targeted E.P.I. of 50 KWh/m/year.
This is a building having many rare features like - Chilled Beam systemof HVAC, Geo
Thermal Heat Exchange system, Regenera5ve Li&s, Fully Automated Car Parking in
basements with Zero surface parking and features like Bio Diversity Park, etc.
Energy Eciency
Light Power Density achieved is 5 wa6/sqm as against 11.8 wa6/sqm of ECBC 2007 for
normal building thus saving in energy > 50% over conven5onal building
Low discharge xture are planned thus reducing water demand by approximately 70%
over conven5onal xtures.
Water eciency
Waste water from building is recycled a&er treatment to the extent of 100% use in
irriga5on and HVAC plant.
All the three (3) basements will be used for Automa5c Car Parking system.
1.
Total Capacity is 330 nos. of cars. The following type of system is adopted in this project:
2.
In the IPB project Chilled Beams are being installed in second oor to sixth oor.
Room temperature maintained is 26 1 C.
Chilled Beams with Drain pan are used to drain out water droplets due to condensa5on
during monsoon.
160 TR of air condi5oning load of the Building is met through Chilled Beam system.
3.
Complete energy genera5on is onsite using 6000sqm area comprising of roo&op and
can5lever por5on provided at fourth oor.
Solar Power plant of 930 kWp being installed with 20% ecient Modules genera5ng 14
lakh units annually, mee5ng annual energy demand of the Building.
This Power Plant is Grid Interac5ve System, Power so generated would be fed to NDMC
Grid at 11kV.
Annual solar energy generated is mee5ng the annual energy demand(14 lakh Unit) of the
Building, hence our target of NET ZERO ENERGY building is achievable.
