system

Dear valued partners and

prospective customers,
Mr. Tay Kok Seng and myself are Advanced Certified Trainers and
Assessors (ACTA).
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and
to update you on the latest developments within PERI as your local
training provider.
We are very happy to announce that we have broadened our existing
training program by including the DUO, our brand new formwork
innovation for your market.
DUO is a new lightweight formwork system, to be used as one
system for both, vertical and horizontal application. It was developed
to substitute conventional formwork, allowing for faster, more
efficient and safer construction.
DUO will contribute to our vision: to be your most innovative and
therefore preferred partner for construction and industry in Singapore.
Construction is all about safety and productivity.
To reach such goal it is important to use construction material and
equipment in a proper manner throughout the whole construction
process.
Our Zero Damage Campaign (A 22) will explain and provide a
guideline to avoid damages and its occurring costs.
As your PERI trainers we warmly welcome you to join our training
program. We will share our knowledge to equip you with the
necessary skills to carry out your daily obligations in a confident
manner.
To provide a better understanding of the training program we included
a one page overview of each individual formwork and scaffolding
system in this edition.
The respective application form can be found at the end of the
brochure, and for your convenience it can be completed online by
going to www.periasia.com and clicking on Customer Training.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Tay Kok Seng or myself for any
further clarification or information.
We look forward to meeting you in our facilities.

Theoretical Training

Practical Training

The understanding of any formwork and/or

scaffolding system is the key to successful utilization
of the systems, thus sharing the necessary
expertise is a central part of our training. Safety
is part of our everyday life and when given the
required knowledge to recognize and understand
the consequences of unsafe practices, we are better
prepared to implement the fundament precautions
associated with the usage of system formwork and/
or scaffolding. Theoretical training allows for planning
and execution of duties. The theory training takes
place in well-equipped training facilities, carried
out by qualified trainers and is supported by the
appropriate documentation.

Practical training takes place in Tiong Seng Training

Centre located at 63 Tuas South Avenue 1. The
range of formwork and scaffolding systems allows
comprehensive hands on training for all practical
applications required in the construction industry. Our
trainers are qualified to give expert advice on the safe
and productive handling methods. Trained candidates
become more competent in the understanding of
the applications associated with the product. PERI
provides sufficient space, in which the candidates will
have a perfect opportunity to familiarize themselves.

With the continuously adjustable panel connections, VARIO GT 24 allows the

forming of nearly all designs and applications. It can be used for industrial and
residential construction, for bridge abutments and retaining walls for each
ground plan and all heights. Formlining, girder spacing as well as tie positions
are freely selectable.
If suitable, VARIO GT 24 standard panels are available already pre-assembled
in various sizes. This inexpensive panels are designed for a permissible fresh
concrete pressure of 60 kN/m and concrete surfaces with less requirements.
If necessary, optimally sized elements can be planned project-specific with
special girder lengths and spacings, waler positions and individually arranged
horizontal and vertical tie arrangements.

In addition to walls in building construction,

VARIO GT 24 elements find many applications in
civil engineering, e.g. for bridge piers.

As an alternative, VT 20 girders can be used with

the VARIO wall formwork.

the concrete (left); drophead lowered: the cover strips and
dropheads remain in position while the panels and beams
are struck (right).

GRIDFLEX Grid Element Slab Formwork

The flexible, efficient slab formwork for simplest assembly with
highest work safety

With GRIDFLEX, the elements are hooked in from below and pushed upwards into position.

GRIDFLEX allows the forming of

spatula and wallpaper-suitable slabs up
to 67 cm thick. The system features a
low number of individual components
with forming operations safely taking
place from below, and thus ensures
very short shuttering times and
maximum work safety.

to customers request and project
requirements

After the complete assembly process has taken

place from below, the closed element grid can be
safely accessed for installing the formlining.

All parts are moved by hand and have a

particularly lightweight design.

For slabs up to 67 cm thick

The ACS self-climbing versions can also be

combined. For this building three ACS variants
together with different wall formwork systems
formed crane-independent climbing units.

PERI UP Rosett

built around using system components.

The VARIOKIT Concept

Supporting structures cost-effectively erected with system
with materials and expertise from a single source
PERI VARIOKIT is the engineering
construction kit with standardized
components. Only three core
components are required for a wide
range of applications. PERI, however,
not only supplies the required materials
for civil engineering projects but
also the associated know-how as a
customized overall solution for the
construction work.

Ingeniously simple
Versatile core components with
standard connections using fitting pins
Load-optimized
Economical use of materials through
statically optimized utilization of the
components
Cost-effective
Rentable standard components which
remain unchanged but are nevertheless
still very versatile in their use

The core components of the VARIOKIT

engineering construction kit: steel walers,
climbing rails and heavy-duty spindle

PERI provides cost-effectively

optimized solutions from a single
source including assembly
sequences and construction
processes.
Experienced engineers develop design
solutions whereby load optimization,
flexibility and functionality are
optimally combined to match the
respective sitespecific requirements.

Included in the PERI overall solution

are all technical documents such
as static calculations, assembly
drawings and instructions for use.
The ongoing support of the project
management team from the analysis
of various possible solutions through
to the efficient handling of return
deliveries this ensures cost-effective
implementation.

PERI The service provider

We offer more than just products
The broad range of PERI equipment and systems offer the perfect solution for every requirement.
However, the PERI range of services goes far beyond production and system equipment sales and rental.

Technical solutions

Logistics

Due to our engineers in-depth understanding of the needs

of our customers, they are able to develop the best projectrelated solutions for them. These services include, if required, static calculations as well as assembly plans for special
formwork. Although 90% of the formwork project requirements can be covered using standard equipment from the
broad PERI product range, a special construction is, however, sometimes more cost-effective and it is exactly here
that the engineers apply their expertise with great effect.

PERI has the worlds largest rental equipment pool that

supplies its customers reliably, fast and with a high level
of flexibility. Just in time deliveries and return deliveries
according to the particular construction schedule.

Customer Training

On-site support

Our training programme includes both seminars with

specified content and individualised courses. In doing so,
we support our customers by enabling them to find out
about the latest formwork and scaffolding technologies for
more efficiency, and to be able to pass on this knowledge.

PERI formwork instructors provide an extensive professional on-site briefing. This means that any improper
handling can be avoided and the risk of accidents are
greatly reduced. Using the systems even more efficiently
accelerates the construction progress.

24

For very large material requirements, the local team

works closely with other logistics locations thus ensuring
an optimal delivery service to the construction sites.
