During excavation for foundations, underground piping, etc., lowering of

ground water table if required and dewatering of surface water is in the scope
of the CONTRACTOR.

For piping being laid from underground to aboveground, tape coating shall be
done minimum of upto 500 mm from the HPP.

Necessary coordination like collecting necessary data, levels, including visits

to site, other contractors design offices etc., required to interface various
facilities with other contractors shall be in the CONTRACTOR scope.

APPROVALS
Approval of the facilities within contract scope limit from Chief Controller of Explosives
(CCOE,), of PETROLEUM AND EXPLOSIVES SAFETY ORGANISATION (PESO)
and Tariff Advisory Committee (TAC) accredited agency shall be obtained by the EPC
package contractor.
EPC Contractor to comply with the requirement of these authorities irrespective if it is
mentioned or not in the bid package & shall form part of contractors scope of work
including preparation of required drawings/ documents. Contractor shall comply with
the requirement of local bodies including preparation of required drawings/ documents.
