Instead of using photo transistors or photo-resistors, I used clear lens LEDs. I change the value of th
the reference voltage divider to 1M ohms to bring down the Vref from .421V to 42.1mV.
Also, ensure you are using the same MOSFETS, ie, don't use a IRF510 and a IRF640. For the P-ch
had a IRF9530 and a IRF9540. Either the IRF9540 was bad, or because the drain-source resistance
MOSTFET would get *very* hot after a second of two of the motor spinning. The other MOSFETs re
touch.
After salvaging another IRF9530 from a power supply, none of the MOSFETs get warm, even after p
using a flashlight, making the motor rapidly change directions.

Most of the components can be taken from desktop computer power supplies. The diode is nothing
higher rectifier diode will work fine.
The LM339 or KA339 can be found in some Un-interruptable power supplies, wall input voltage doe
could probably use an LM324 or LM224. Or, whatever you have to use to get four op-amps.
the linear actuator connection is simple. The two wires from the motor. Once the sensors are in in pl
moves the other direction, switch the two wires on the actuator around.
