V3: Business analysis is the practice of enabling change
in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending
solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.

V2: Business analysis is the set of tasks and techniques


used to work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to
understand the structure, policies, and operations of an
organization, and to recommend solutions that enable
the organization to achieve its goals.

Certification Changes
Research is ongoing to ensure exam meets gold standard
requirements
Date for cutover will be announced 4-6 months in advance
Exam will remain based on v2 longer than in past, due to scope of revision
Planning for the update is underway and timing will be communicated

Candidates currently pursuing certification are encouraged


to continue to do so
All current certification holders will be automatically mapped to equivalent level
in new program
Follow current recertification process to maintain certification
