of charity a roman catholic congregation of woman dedicated to helping the poor. Mother
Teresa is a Nun, and was just recently canonized to be saint. Mother Teresa taught in
India for 17 years until she devoted her life to the sick and poor. Her centers established a
home fro the aged, blind, and disabled.

admired and respected. She was a person that made an impact on your life and made
people loot at the world with a different eye. Even though the world is full of good
people, great humanitarians, people who donate billions of dollars, who raise their voices

Bojaxhiu. She was born on 26th August, 1910 at the then Yugoslavia (now

to Calcuttas slum to serve God among the poorest of the poor.In 1950, She
established the Missionaries of Charity to help the poor, helpless, disabled, diseased,
refugees and lepers. Today, the Missionary is present in more than 100 countries.She was
awarded the title of Padma-Shri in 1962. She received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.
Later, in 1980, she received conferred the title of Bharat-Ratna, the highest civilian
award in India. She is the first citizen of India to win Nobel Peace Prize.She devoted her
life in the service of humanity. She had deep love for Jesus Christ. She adopted a simple
living style. She wore a plain white saree with blue border. She also acquired Indian
citizenship.

an all girls high school. Then she got a call from Christ saying to leave her convent and
devote her life to the sick and poor of Calcutta. Then Mother Teresa created her Missions
of Charity organization. She cared for those who were the most vulnerable in society.
Mother Teresa entered a war zone to execute 37 people. She donated a lot of money to
India and got awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. She operated mare than 517 missions in
more that 100 countries.
