Outline
At the back of a small, quaint pet shop, apartment-like animal enclosures house an array of
small animals that are for sale. In one cage there is an elegant female ferret, who organises
and maintains her enclosure so it is clean and immaculate. Across from her is a messy
enclosure - belonging to an unkept male guinea pig. The guinea pig admires the ferret and
has a crush on her, much to her annoyance. Luckily for her, they are separated from each
other and there is no way someone would put them together as they are obviously so
different.
One day, however, a little girl comes into the pet shop to welcome some new pets to her
home. She looks through some of the cages, and immediately chooses the female ferret for
her elegance and beauty. The girl then notices the guinea pig, and to the ferrets horror, she
picks him up too because of his humble appearance. The ferret attempts to escape the pet
carrier as the guinea pig placed in with her, as she is repulsed by him. However, the pet
carrier is closed before she can escape. She grumpily accepts that they will be now living
together.
