ODI Scheduling
ODI provides scheduling mechanism to automate the execution of jobs
Schedules can only be created for scenarios and load plans
A schedule is alway tied to an ODI agent and a context
Agents execute schedules at defined intervals

Creating a Schedule Step 1 : Choose a Scenario

Select a scenario of an ODI object, expand the scenario tree
Right-click on the Scheduling entry, select New Schedule

Creating a Schedule Step 2 : Set Context and Agent

Set Context and Agent using the drop down menu
Name of the schedule is set from the values of Context and Agent
Schedule name format <context_name>/<agent_name>

Creating a Schedule Step 3 : Set Status Properties

Set schedule status
Active for period - enable for a certain time span
- Various property like Starting, Ending, etc can be set by enabling the check
boxes for fine control
Active - enable a schedule
Inactive - disable a schedule

Creating a Schedule Step 4 : Set Execution Properties

Set the execution schedule
Weekly - Set time to execute on selected day(s) of a week
Yearly - Set time,day and month for execution
Daily - Set time for daily execution
... and so on

Save the schedule and the schedule entry will be created for the scenario

Refreshing Schedule(s) for an Agent

Under Topology>Physical Architecture expands Agents tree
Right-click an agent and select Update Schedule
On the Select Repositories dialog, select work repositories and click the OK
button to refresh\activate schedules for them

Viewing Agent Schedule(s)

Under Topology>Physical Architecture expand Agents tree
Right-click on an agent and select View Schedule
