This source focused on the murder of Emmett Till and the events leading up to the
murder. While this source was helpful with common information about the murder, this
source was most helpful to us by showing the stand that Emmett Till's mother took in an
attempt to achieve justice. While justice was never fully achieved as a result of a biased
jury, the stand that his mother took had a large impact on American history.
