Thank you very much for taking the time to read through my letter and my resume, I
greatly appreciate this opportunity.
I already have some experience in the work force as I was a sales associate at the
clothing store rue21 for about a year and a half. My main duties working at this store were
folding the clothes, cleaning the floors and windows, dressing mannequins, running gobacks, working the cash register, and above all providing amazing customer service. I was
often praised on how I would always take great strides to get a job done and never left
anything unfinished. I was never afraid of a big job and always did my best to help the
customers find exactly what they needed with friendly and efficient service. For many
years I have also been babysitting for neighbors and family friends. The childrens ages
would range from newborn to about 10 years old. In this type of work, I would often
change the children, feed them, make sure they were safe, play with them, and then help
them to bed at the appropriate times. These two experiences I have working have helped
me hone many skills that I can apply to many different situations. I am observant,
determined, neat, calm, and always ready to work and give my best effort to whatever
task I undertake.
