Features
Cross-connect capacity is 1616 VC4 / Time division and space division are supported / Two
XC1 boards in the enhanced sub rack are not allowed.

generation
Cross connect capacity is 2424 VC4 / Time division and space division are supported / Two
XC4 boards in the enhanced sub rack are not allowed.

SS11GTCF0
Cross connect capacity is 2424 VC4 / Only space division is supported / Coexistence of MSP
generation
SS11GTCA0
and SNCP is not supported / SS11GTCF0 has no crystal oscillator, so it should work together
with the clock board / SS11GTCA0 has a crystal oscillator, and it is used in the extend subrack.
Here, for economy reasons, no clock board is needed on extended subrack.

SS12GTC02
has no crystal oscillator, so it should work together with the clock board / SS12GTC02 has a
crystal oscillator, and it is used in the extend subrack. Here, for economy reasons, no clock
board is needed on extended subrack.
SS13GTC01
Compared to SS12GTC, these boards have added power source backup. Other fratures are the
SS13GTC02
same as SS12GTC / SS13GTC01 has no crystal oscillator, so it should work together with the
clock board / SS13GTC02 has a crystal oscillator, and it is used in the extend subrack. Here, for
economy reasons, no clock board is needed on extended subrack..

4. The safest method is to insert the standby cross-connect board after the
configuration file is successfully delivered or the full configuration in the NMS
is completed.

If the NMS is NES, it will report Board already installed error when
installing the standby cross-connect board in the corresponding slot. Upload
the data to view the board in the corresponding slot. In this case, create the
board in the NMS first, and then insert the cross-connect board.

2. The table above only gives the hardware matching relationship. For
cross-connect boards of the same type, the board software and FPGA
versions should also be matched.
3. At present, there is only ETXC board as 10GV2 lower-order crossconnect board. When making 1+1 lower order protection group, ETXC
boards should be inserted in 10G dual slots, such as
4/7.5/6.14/17.15/16.
1.4.2
Verification is required. After the verification, upload the data to the NMS. The
active/standby state of the cross-connect board is in the menu 1+1 Board Hot
Backup in the NMS.
(2) Use T2000:
Insert an EXCS in slot 22. Open the main view in the NMS. Double click the
NE panel, and then add 22-EXCS. The active/standby state of the crossconnect board is in the menu 1+1 Board Hot Backup in the NMS.
2. To add 1+1 protection group in a lower-order cross-connect board, for
example, to add 7-ETXC while 4-ETXC is configured in the NE, follow either
of the following procedures.
(1) Use the command line.
Insert an ETXC board in slot 7. The board online event will appear after the
insertion.
A) Use the command line to add 7-ETXC board.
:cfg-add-board:7,etxc;
B) Configure a lower-order protection group and map lower-order protection
relationship.

(2) Use T2000
Insert an ETXC board in slot 7. The board online event will appear after the

A) Open the main view in the NMS. Double click the NE panel, and then add
7-EXCS.
B) Select 1+1 Board Hot Backup under Equipment Maintenance Console.
Then select Create and Service Type according to the actual need. The
system will define Protection Group Number starting from 128. Select 4ETXC as Active Board and select 7-EXCS as the standby board. Do not
appoint the Working Board. Click Apply.
Note
In T2000, Active Board and Working Board are not the same.
The Working Board is the current clock board or service board.
