Pray for the Yavapai Territorial Gospel Rescue Mission. As
women and children begin to fill the rooms, of the Mission,
there is much in the way of physical needs. Pray that these
physical needs are met. Be in prayer that spiritual needs
are met. Pray that the gospel is proclaimed and for the
conversion of those who hear it.

by Arthur Bennett
Reading Valley of Vision has been a great help to me. The
content of these prayers reflect the spiritual hunger that
exists in all of our souls. The heart cries of saints who have
gone before us have often become my own and have given
me truths to meditate on throughout the day. -Pastor Andrew

Yesterdays passage (John 11:45-57) contained the truth

that Christ died to gather/unite people from all over the
world together in Him. This truth is celebrated in a number of the New Testament epistles and yet often Christians
struggle with other believers based on ethnic, economic, and other cultural issues. Examine your own heart. Is
there a reluctance on your part to think less of brothers
and sisters or to be suspicious of them because they are
of a different background? Ask the Lord to stir in your
heart a love for the diversity that we see in the New Testament church.

Are you being tempted? What is the greatest temptation in your life right now? Hebrews 2:18 says, that
because [Jesus] himself has suffered when tempted,
he is able to help those who are being tempted. Have
you talked with Jesus about your temptation? Have you
spoken with this person named Jesus, Gods son? Have
you taken the time to sit with Him and talk about your
temptations? He promises in his word that he is able to
help you. We are reminded in Hebrews 4:15-16 that we
do not have a high priestwho is unable to sympathize
with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has
beentempted as we are,yet without sin.Let us then
with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that
we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of
need.In all our temptations, let us not seek togo at it
alone as we would say, but let us with confidence draw
near to him for help.

Tuesday

Thursday

Read Romans 3:21-26: It is only by Gods unmerited favor

(grace) that anyone is declared not guilty but righteous
by the divine Judge (justification). This is accomplished
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus (Rom.
3:24). Sins are forgiven through Jesus death. It was His
blood which satisfied Gods wrath for those who have faith
in Christ. Pray and thank the Lord for the gracious Gift
that God has extended to the repentant, be-lieving sinner,
which is apart from any human work.

Wewouldall want to take caution to keep from falling off

the edge of a cliff. Of course, the logical choice to keep us
safe would be to stay away from the edge. As believers,
the bible warns us to take care not to fall away from God.
We may think this could never happen to us, and yet the
Bible warns us to take precautions. Specifically,Heb 3:1213 is clear:Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you
an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from
the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long
as it is called today, that none of you may be hardened
by the deceitfulness of sin. Notice carefully the distinction
drawn: the opposite of falling away and being hardened
by thedeceitfulness of sin is to exhort one another. Be
sure toregularly put yourself in a context of relationships
with believers who are able to exhort you. Otherwise, dear
friend, you are drawing dangerously close to the edge of
the cliff.
