1. Im very fat , says Kate, but that wasnt a


problem until
the first day at secondary school. A boy of my age,
called John, caused me so many problems . John
and his friends followed me everywhere
saying bad things about me. I asked them to
leave me alone but they refused . I sat at the
back of the class just to be far away from
them.
2. I went home later that afternoon and my mum
asked me if I enjoyed my first day at school. I didnt
want to talk about it. So, I said it was good.

3. The next day was as terrible as the first and this


lasted for two months. So, I couldnt go to school
anymore. I hated it. I took the 7a.m bus everyday but
I didnt attend my lessons. I went to the park next to
the school and sat there until the end of the classes.
My results were very bad for this first term .
